Some bloke called saying I’m due more than £2000 back from PPI. All he really wanted was my sort code, not my full bank details. He mentioned it was with Halifax, but I ain’t ever had an account with them. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Got a voicemail, then a long silence before a woman with an English accent started saying ‘Hello’ repeatedly and then just ended the call. Didn’t have a clue who it was, checked my contacts but none of them matched that number.
