Claiming to be from a life insurance company, they failed to provide any documentation either by mail or email. I decided to hang up and block their number. Why on earth wouldn’t they send the details for me to review before committing? Seems a bit dodgy, if you ask me!

(The most important thing is to never share any personal details with anyone.) There’s loads of scams going about, like ones pretending to be from funeral services, insurance for household stuff like Sky boxes or appliances. If you think you’ve been targeted by a scam, you should report it to the police through their 'Action Fraud' site, but I heard that site isn’t fully working right now.
