Phone number ☎️ 01733347007 👆 is reported as a highly deceptive and dangerous scam number falsely claiming affiliation with Lloyds Bank. Callers typically impersonate the bank’s fraud team, often using information stolen via previous scams, and pressure victims to provide personal and banking details or to transfer funds to fraudulent accounts. Despite the number appearing legitimate, sometimes matching that on the back of Lloyds debit cards, Lloyds and official sources warn against trusting it. Victims have experienced significant financial loss and harassment, with frequent attempts to verify account security or coerce immediate action. Lloyds advises customers to only use official helplines shown on their cards and to report suspicious calls promptly to Action Fraud. The number should be blocked and calls from it not answered to avoid falling victim to these sophisticated scams.

I just had a call about writing a will, so I told them I’m only 12 and then they hung up on me. This happened on Saturday, 02/05/26 at 5:20pm.

Earlier today, 1st April 2026, I tried to access my Lloyds online banking and got a page that looked just like theirs. But it said something like, "Sorry, you don't have any accounts available for Mobile or Internet Banking. Please phone us on +44 1733 347 007." I ignored this and shut the page straight away. After a few minutes, I gave it another go and managed to log in fine with all my accounts showing correctly as usual.

This number actually belongs to Lloyd’s Overseas Department. My mum had trouble logging into her account and found this number, which is printed on the back of her Lloyds debit card. After contacting the Fraud Team, they warned us not to ring this number unless you're an overseas customer. They recommend always calling the 0345 number shown on the back of your card and avoiding any other numbers, even if they look official. The first person I spoke to hadn’t even come across the 01733 number and told me to steer clear of it.

I got caught up with someone who claimed to be from Lloyd’s Fraud department - quite clever how they used 3 different numbers, and this one sent a text with a verification code. The person on the phone sounded like a proper UK call centre agent and didn’t directly ask for any personal info. But somehow they convinced me to open my banking app and a payment went through from my account without me realy understanding how. I never actually saw or entered the code they sent from this number while I was still talking to them, so it’s a mystery how they managed it.

I got a call from a number claiming to be Lloyds Bank Internet Banking. What really freaked me out was that the number was actually shown on the Lloyds Bank app, telling me to ring them to reset my password. It felt really sketchy and could be a serious risk!

I got a bogus letter supposedly from Lloyds bank, complete with a fake credit card and this number visible. I wouldn’t ring them up since Lloyds isnt my bank and I never asked for any card. But I can understand how others might get tricked since it’s made to look legit, though the font seems off. DON’T EVER RETURN CALLS TO THESE NUMBERS, no genuine bank sends you cards you never asked for.

I got a call saying it was from Lloyds bank after I’d unfortunately fallen for an email scam. The phone number matched the Lloyds bank fraud team, so I really thought it was legit. Then they sent a text from 01733 347007 with new account info asking me to switch my payments over. That’s when I got suspicious, hung up, and rang Lloyds fraud team myself using a number I’d looked up online. They confirmed it was all a scam. Thankfully, I didn’t lose any money this time but just wanted to shout out a warning - these scammers are really tricky!

Got another call from this number claiming to be the fraud division at Lloyds bank. I’m well aware that banks never ring me up like this. After I ended the call, the person rang back and actually said “did your mum not teach you it’s rude to just hang up on someone?” Doesn’t really sound like a proper Lloyds bank call to me.

I’ve come across some despicable individuals involved in fraudulent activities, pretending to be from Lloyd’s and playing tricks linked to credit card scams. I’m determined to hunt down these lowlifes and ensure they pay for their misdeeds. Should you happen to glimpse this, know that I’m fully equipped to bring down your entire operation. Consider yourselves warned.

I fell victim to a £9500 scam on Tuesday, initiated by a caller who pretended to be from Lloyds' fraud team. What's infuriating is that the number appeared to be legitimate and even connected to Lloyds, making it seem credible! I'm puzzled as to why the authorities haven’t tracked down the perpetrators linked to this number. I’m holding onto hope that I’ll recover my funds, but I can't help but think of the elderly people caught in such predicaments - they wouldn't know where to turn for help! It's baffling that Lloyds hasn't made any effort to notify their clients about this scam. I'm determined to investigate this myself because these fraudsters simply cannot be allowed to get away with it!

A young chap claiming to be from Lloyds Bank rang me up, expressing concern over a dubious £180 withdrawal from my account in Aberdeen. He mentioned he needed to confirm my identity before he could sort out the refund. He proceeded to ask for my birth year and details of my most recent transactions, and then, out of nowhere, he just cut the call! I could practically feel the colour drain from my face. I immediately reached out to Lloyds, and it turns out this scam has been making the rounds for a while now. I can’t fathom why the police haven’t managed to shut it down yet! I've also lodged a complaint with the Action Fraud Unit, had to cancel my card, and place a watch on my account now. What a right palaver!

If you receive a call claiming to be from your bank, don’t just brush it off. Make sure your line is free, then ring your bank using the number on the back of your card straight away. Scammers have faked every number linked to banks these days, so you can’t always tell if it’s legit. Still, there might be an actual issue with your account that needs sorting. Any scam calls or messages should be reported straight to the police via the Action Fraud website.

I received a call from 01733347007, where the caller claimed to be part of Lloyds Bank's fraud department. They mentioned detecting a direct debit from an insurance firm that apparently wasn’t initiated by me. The caller requested that I log into my bank account and inform him of any transactions from the past day that appeared unfamiliar, as well as the current balance. He even sent me a text from a number linked to Lloyds, which matched the one on my bank card. He assured me he would handle the direct debit matter and ensure it was recorded that I hadn’t authorised it. After wishing me a pleasant day, he abruptly ended the call. When I contacted Lloyds immediately after, they confirmed that there were no notes on my account indicating any suspicious activity or communications from them. With that in mind, I've since cancelled my card and updated my online passwords. I'm still uncertain whether it was a scam or not.

I didn't recognise the number so I didn’t pick up the first time and there was no voicemail left. Then they rang back a couple of seconds later and I answered. The person on the line sounded African and wanted to speak to me by name but said it wrong, so I just hung up straight away. They called once more shortly after but I ignored it again and they left no message again. I’m pretty sure it was a scammer. Reading other comments here seems to confirm it was indeed a scam call.
