I received a call earlier today from someone with a quite pronounced Asian accent. They inquired about my daughter but referred to her as 'Mr.'! I told them they were chatting nonsense and requested they refrain from calling this number again.

This morning, I received a call from a gentleman of Asian descent who had the cheek to ask for me directly, which was quite unsettling. I sat through his spiel, and he went on about wanting to “check the health” of my computer! At that point, I simply terminated the call. The nuisance stems from the fact that the call came from a local number in Peterborough, so I felt compelled to answer, thinking it might be something important. I’m becoming increasingly exasperated with these fraudulent calls. Despite being ex-directory, my privacy feels utterly violated! It’s high time something was done to tackle this ongoing issue.

I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent inquiring about someone named Mr. Parker. After I confirmed that he wasn’t here, she then asked to speak with the owner of the landline. I let her know that it’s an ex-directory number, and that was the end of the conversation-she hung up shortly after.

Received a rather peculiar silent call earlier; I lingered on the line for a couple of minutes, but there was absolutely no response from the other side. Quite baffling, really!

Received a call where there was nothing but dead air on the other end. Typically, I prompt them for a security code that's not part of their usual spiel, and it's clear they haven't a clue how to respond. If they somehow do manage to guess it, then they’re truly in the dark. I usually end up sending them packing with some of my best colourful language!

Received a call from someone with an Asian accent who identified himself as Ricky. He inquired specifically for either me or my husband, which was rather unsettling. I allowed him to proceed with his script-same old tale about issues with a computer and questioned whether it was switched on. I promptly informed him that this scam was well-known to many and hung up the phone.

A chap called me, claiming my laptop was under siege from dodgy software and that he could assist in putting a stop to it. He requested I hop on my laptop so he could guide me through the process. He mentioned he was phoning from London, but I was busy enjoying my lunch at the time. To be honest, he was quite difficult to comprehend. He insisted he'd ring back in an hour, but I told him I’d get in touch instead.

I received a rather uninvited call claiming my computer was facing issues, you know how it goes-same old story!

Received a rather dubious call from some bloke today claiming there were issues with my computer. I made it abundantly clear that he could shove off. It’s crucial to steer clear of giving these individuals any sort of entry to your machine; they're nothing but cyber crooks!

Last night, I noticed a rather alarming notification pop up on my laptop. In the end, I simply dismissed the intrusive banner. Fast forward to the following day, and I received a call on my landline. I chose not to pick up, and funnily enough, there was no voicemail left behind. Quite peculiar, don’t you think?
