Got a call from this number today. The person speaking had a really thick Asian accent. He was asking for my daughter but kept saying “Mr.” instead of her name! I told him he was talking nonsense and to stop calling me.

This morning I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who asked for me by name, which was a bit creepy :( He started off introducing himself, then went on about checking if my computer had any problems! I didn't waste any time and just ended the call. What annoyed me is that the number was from Peterborough, which is local, so I actually answered thinking it might be something important.
I'm really frustrated with these fake calls, especially since my number’s ex-directory - feels like an intrusion on privacy!!
Honestly, I wish there was a way to stop this nonsense :(

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent asking if Mr Parker was available. Told her he wasn’t, then she wanted to speak to whoever owns the landline. I explained the number is ex-directory and she just hung up after that.

Got a silent call, just hung on for about two minutes but nobody ever spoke.

Got a call the other day, but when I picked up, all I got was silence. Normally I try asking for a security phrase since that’s not something they expect, but if they do know it, they obviously have no clue how to respond. After that, I just tell them to jog on in the rudest way I can manage!

Got a call from some bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was Ricky. He wanted to speak to me or my husband by name, which was kinda creepy. I let him carry on with his usual spiel about some computer issue and whether the computer was switched on. I told him loads of people are aware of his scam and then hung up.
