I've received a rather alarming message purporting to be from HMRC, warning me that if I fail to get in touch with them, they could initiate legal proceedings against me.

I received a voicemail from this number that was clearly automated and masquerading as the HMRC. It insisted that I get in touch with my case officer and urged me to press 1 to evade any legal troubles. No doubt, it’s a scam!

Got a phone call from this number on 16/02/22, it was some automated voice saying that HMRC had sent me a letter but it got sent back to them 'cos it couldn't be delivered. They said If I didn’t sort it out soon, enforcement action would follow and asked me to press 1 to talk to an enforcement officer. Didn’t seem right to me, so I reckon it was a scam.
