I received a voicemail from this number that was clearly automated and masquerading as the HMRC. It insisted that I get in touch with my case officer and urged me to press 1 to evade any legal troubles. No doubt, it’s a scam!

I got a phone call from this number on the 16th of February, 2022. It was an automated recording claiming to be from HMRC, saying they’d attempted to send me a letter but it had bounced back to them. They mentioned something about taking enforcement action if I didn’t sort it out. I was asked to press 1 to chat with an enforcement officer. I highly suspect it was a scam.
