Totally a scam, without a doubt. I got a call from this number, and the person on the other end had a strong Asian accent. They were asking for my daughter using her maiden name, which is strange because she’s been married for about eight years and hasn’t lived here for over a decade! Quite fishy if you ask me.

Today, 17th April 2015, at around 4:25 pm I got a call from this number. The man on the other end said his name was "Jeff". He claimed there were issues with my computer, which really surprised me as how could he possibly know that? So, I decided to probe further.
First, I asked for his full name and he replied "Jeff Miller".
Then, I asked where he was calling from and he answered "Newport".
Finally, when I asked which company he was representing, he just said it was a waste of time and abruptly ended the call.

Call came through but they hung up right after I answered.

They tried to trick me by pretending to be from some computer support team, hoping to get my bank info. I kept my details to myself, but when I tried calling back, the number just wouldn’t go through or ring.

A gentleman with an Indian accent called to inform me that this was a call concerning our computer. I promptly replied that our computer is unable to receive calls!
