They appeared to be continuing their efforts on the 6th of January-it's certainly believable but quite concerning for our older generation.

I had a chap ring me up, supposedly from Microsoft, insisting there was a problem with my computer that he could sort out for me. When I mentioned I only use an iPad, he outright accused me of fibbing! I didn’t take kindly to that, so I let him know what I thought before disconnecting the call. Then, as if on cue, he gave me another buzz about four hours later...

I've been plagued by a constant stream of bothersome calls lately, and more often than not, there's just silence on the other end. It's absolutely infuriating!

I received a call on the 6th of January, 2015, around 10 in the morning, and the person on the line had an Indian accent. He made some rather alarming threats against my father, suggesting harm. To make matters worse, he rang again an hour later at 11.

Every time they called me this week, I promptly cut the line, assuming it was a dodgy scam. However, this morning, I thought I’d play along and see what they had to say. I played the part, pretending to cooperate, but then they unleashed a tirade of insults at me, like “are you utterly dim?” “who gave you the right to operate a computer?” and “you must be illiterate!” They abruptly hung up, and I've since informed both Ofcom and Action Fraud. What a splendid way to kick off the day!

I received a call from them at twenty past eight this morning, and I had to tell them to shove off as I was still tucked up in bed. They had the audacity to ring me again at ten, and I simply cut the conversation short. Total scam, if you ask me!

This morning, around 9 o'clock, I got a call from this number. An Indian chap on the line claimed to be representing Windows technical support. I told him, "You must reckon I'm daft if you think I'm going to fork out any cash to discuss Windows at this hour. But if you fancy giving it a go, be my guest!" What do you know? He promptly hung up! :)

I reckon this was a scammer pretending to offer dodgy tech support. As soon as I questioned them, they turned quite nasty.

This morning, right at 8 o'clock, I received a rather dodgy phone call from someone claiming to be from Windows. They inquired whether I was the primary user of my computer. When I informed them that I didn't actually have a computer, they miraculously insisted I had some kind of issue with it and offered to fix it for me. I replied that should I possess a computer, I would prefer to have my mate sort it out. At that point, they abruptly hung up! It’s glaringly obvious it’s a scam, and these crooks really ought to be put in their place.

This is undeniably a well-crafted con. It’s definitely not from Windows or Microsoft support. They attempted to hit me with a £94 fee.

It appears that these individuals are attempting to gain remote access to personal computers via econnect.ws. I tuned in to their nonsense for a bit before informing them that I would be notifying Ofcom about their activities. That certainly caught their attention and put an end to the calls. Just a heads-up for everyone to stay vigilant!

This particular number has rung me three times today, claiming to be from Windows, insisting that my laptop is infested with malicious hacking files! When I informed the caller that I would handle the matter on my own, he insisted I couldn't manage it and prompted me to press some combination like Ctrl and R alongside another key. I told him I had already done so, to which he retorted, "Do you take me for a fool, do you think I sprang into existence just yesterday, you absolute tosser!" At that point, I was rather certain I wasn’t conversing with anyone from the official Windows support team. Do yourself a favour and avoid this number if it ever tries to get in touch!

This number rang me thrice today, all during rather unfortunate moments. I was in the midst of settling my little one down for a nap. The caller claimed they were from Windows, insisting there was an issue with my computer. When I requested to speak with their supervisor, they abruptly disconnected. It's clearly a scam, and I’m listed with the Telephone Preference Service. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
