What a dodgy caller this turned out to be! It was some fake from my bank’s fraud team, purporting to be all worried about a couple of dodgy transactions on my account. To make matters worse, it wasn’t even a real person on the line-just a pre-recorded message. How cheeky!

Got a recorded message on my home phone from some unknown number claiming there were two dodgy charges on my bank card. The message gave me two choices, and when I picked the second to talk to someone, the call just cut off. I checked all my cards myself and couldn't find any weird transactions at all. Seems like a scam to me.

On 11th October 2022 at precisely 13:32, I got what appeared to be a spurious bank security call on my landline. The unknown caller mentioned something about two supposed transactions on my cards. It was a prerecorded message, providing me with two options to choose from. However, as soon as I pressed '2' to connect with a representative, the call abruptly cut off. Thankfully, my cards show no signs of any suspicious activity.
