9 yearsI got a call yesterday around 3 in the afternoon, on the 30th of March. When I picked it up, I didn't say anything since I didn't know the number. There was silence on the other end, and just as they were about to hang up, I heard a pre-recorded voice say "thank you" before the line went dead. Quite peculiar, really!9 yearsI received a call from this number at half two on Thursday, the 30th of March. When I answered, there was a brief moment of silence before a man's voice came through, introducing himself as John. He went straight into a spiel about having issues with my Internet connection, to which I firmly replied, "I do not have any problems!" and promptly hung up. He definitely had an accent that made me think he was calling from Pakistan.JohnPakistan9 yearsI received a call tagged as International, and it was a chap with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT, discussing my internet service. When I inquired why they were ringing from overseas, the line went dead!BT9 yearsI've had a particularly bothersome experience with this number over the last couple of days, fielding no fewer than three calls. The individual on the other end speaks with an accent that isn't local and insists he’s representing BT Internet, claiming there’s been some sort of breach involving my internet connection. Now, as I don't actually subscribe to BT, I took it as a clear sign of a scammer trying to coax me into granting access to my computer. It's rather curious that he'd have the audacity to display his number, though. I ended the call promptly and instructed him not to ring me again, yet he still managed to call while I was out and about. Quite infuriating, to say the least!BT9 yearsWhat a nightmare of a scam! Seriously, why can't these jokers find real work instead of bothering everyone?9 yearsGot a call from this number earlier, they claimed to be BT trying to sort out a problem with my broadband.
