Got a recorded call from a woman speaking with this odd kind of mixed accent, saying it was from BT and that my internet was about to be disconnected today. She said to press 1 or 2 to agree or refuse the cut off. We only use cable here, no BT at all, so it’s clearly a dodgy trick trying to get folks to ring pricey 'phone lines.

Oh no, not another one of those BT line scams again. It’s so frustrating that the cops don’t do more to put an end to these calls and go after the people behind them. This one showed a Sevenoaks number, so surely it shouldn’t be too hard to track down where it originated. Honestly, I just block them straight away and report it whenever I get these suspicious calls.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, said if I didn’t press 1 my broadband would be cut off. I hit 1 just to see what would happen but then I got suspicious and quickly ended the call. He called me straight back and really tried to convince me he was legit BT support. Definitely felt like a scam though.
