Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be Cabot Financial. They asked me to press 1 to get back in touch and gave a number to call, 03447987010. They never explained why they were ringing or who they wanted to reach. I checked out their site https://www.cabotfinancial.co.uk/ and it looks like they deal with debt management. Since I’ve got no debts, this is just one of those irritating calls on a recycled number like usual.

Cabot Financial have been phoning me since Jan 2023. I've had to turn off voicemail as I dont want loads of messages from them. They ring loads, sometimes every day. I put on Sky Shield and that stopped the robo calls, but now they use live operators from various numbers, like this 01732 593476, to get around it. They never ask for a specific person by name. Will they ever stop?? Its really upsetting. I don’t owe any money to anyone, this is definitely a SCAM. A real company would call asking for you properly.

Got a call from a bloke with a thick Scottish accent, though he actually sounded more English to me. The number came up as private, and it wasn't from Cabot or Cap Quest like it claimed. My phone’s security said the line was dodgy, like it was some dodgy setup trying to tap into my legit connection to scam me. Any decent phone or app should be able to block this kind of nonsense. Their so-called fibre broadband is often just old ADSL copper lines, not real fibre at all. That’s straight up mis-selling. Took them to the Ombudsman and won, got my money back in the end.

When I confronted them, they just laughed and bragged about how well off they are, saying they ain’t feeling the cost of living crisis and just bought themselves a brand new Mercedes Benz, all coz no one’s standing up to them. 🤬 The Police told me to make a post on social media to warn others and ask people to share it everywhere. They reckon if everyone who gets these scam calls, messages, and letters does this, more folks will know what to watch out for.
