Strangely, they didn’t mention the purpose of their call or who they were attempting to reach. However, since I’m fortunate enough to be debt-free, this feels like yet another of those persistent nuisance calls on a reused number. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

Cabot Financial have been phoning me since Jan 2023. I've had to turn off voicemail as I dont want loads of messages from them. They ring loads, sometimes every day. I put on Sky Shield and that stopped the robo calls, but now they use live operators from various numbers, like this 01732 593476, to get around it. They never ask for a specific person by name. Will they ever stop?? Its really upsetting. I don’t owe any money to anyone, this is definitely a SCAM. A real company would call asking for you properly.

A robust Scottish bloke on the line, but he seems to channel an English actor-a bit odd, if you ask me. Got a call from some Vodafone 'debt collectors' - total scam! They try to trap folks who’ve dumped their Vodafone broadband due to awful speeds, then demand over £300 which you don’t legally owe. Their so-called fibre broadband is often just old ADSL copper lines, not real fibre at all. That’s straight up mis-selling. Took them to the Ombudsman and won, got my money back in the end.

When I confronted them, they just laughed and bragged about how well off they are, saying they ain’t feeling the cost of living crisis and just bought themselves a brand new Mercedes Benz, all coz no one’s standing up to them. 🤬 The Police told me to make a post on social media to warn others and ask people to share it everywhere. They reckon if everyone who gets these scam calls, messages, and letters does this, more folks will know what to watch out for.
