My wife`s phone rang, but there was no one speaking, just some muffled breathing and faint radio sounds. I tried to find out what it was a couple of times but just got silence, then some swearing from my side before I ended the call. That number doesn't get through to us anymore, it's blocked now.

Lately, I've been getting loads of silent calls, which is pretty annoying. This one time, after a bit of quiet, I heard a weird electronic beep, then some bloke with a terrible accent kept saying “Hello, can you hear me?” over and over. He said he was ringing from a phone company trying to sell some call blocking service and asked if I’d been getting bothered by nuisance calls. I said yes, that they were just like this one, then ended the call. Seems to me these calls are meant to hassle certain groups of people on purpose.

Got a call from this number around 3:42 pm today. The voicemail picked it up straight away but as soon as the message finished, all I could hear was some kind of office chatter. I looked it up on Google and yep, it's one of those scam numbers. Seems like the folks behind it think scamming’s just simpler than actually having a proper job.

Got a call this morning around 10:30 on the 27th of November. The voice on the other end was speaking some sort of broken English, probably pigeon. I just ignored it and they ended the call quickly.

I got a call from this number at about 3.42pm today. The answering machine was always on, and right after the pre-recorded message stopped, all I could hear was the sound of an office in the background. Decided to look up the number on Google and found this page. Looks like just another one of those scams - must be easier for them than doing a proper job, I suppose.

I got a ring from 01732464574, it was a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to work for BT Openreach about some call blocking service. He said if I handed over my bank details to pay for this call blocking thing, I wouldn’t ever get annoying calls again. Sounds like a total scam to me, watch out!
