A few minutes later, I noticed another call coming in from a withheld number. It was the same chap, complaining that I had hung up on him! Naturally, I cut him off once more. Honestly, these blokes are relentless-absolutely oblivious and incredibly irritating!12 yearsI received a rather dubious call from someone purporting to be from Visa, insisting they needed to confirm whether a debit card had been dispatched to the correct individual. They rattled off my name and address, which immediately set off alarm bells. Then, they had the audacity to request my card number! When I mentioned that I suspected it was a phishing attempt and expressed my intention to contact my bank for verification, they promptly hung up. However, not long after, they rang me again. I chose not to answer, yet they persisted with two more calls.
