Got this automated call a couple times, sounds like one of those 3 contract scams or maybe just a goodbye message? Can't quite recall now since it rang twice.

I got a notification on my phone indicating that this number might be spam, so I decided to give it a miss. Curiously, I received yet another call today around the same hour, but this one was from a Cardiff area code. My device, a Samsung, once again flagged it as a potential scam. Quite the coincidence!

I received a rather intriguing call from someone asking if I’d fancy swapping my old iPhone for a shiny new iPhone 13 Pro Max at a mere £29 per month. It struck me as quite a bargain, and honestly, it has me questioning whether there’s something fishy going on here!

I’ve been looking into upgrading my mobile, and it seems this chap is set to ring me back on Tuesday. Mind you, I clearly mentioned I wouldn’t be back in the UK until Thursday! I'm not looking to make any purchases, but I fancied having a natter anyway. Just a heads up - this call seems a bit dodgy and unsolicited, so do keep your wits about you!

Had a dodgy experience with Currys PC World trying to push me into a phone upgrade I didn’t want. Felt like a right scam, honestly. They kept ringing saying my contract was ending and I needed to upgrade, but all seemed fishy to me. Proper annoying!

I got a call from someone saying they were from Virgin Media. Im actually a Virgin Media customer, but I found it odd that they didn’t ask for my password like Virgin usually do. I wasn’t sure if they were legit or not, so in the end I just said I’d get in touch with Virgin Media myself.

Had a ring at twenty past one on the 21st of October, 2022, but it was a bit bizarre - all I got was a sort of crackling noise, much like a dodgy laptop connection. Interestingly, they haven't bothered to ring back (at least not as of now).

21st October 2022 at 1:11 PM Received a call from a chap with a male Asian accent. To be frank, I found it quite challenging to grasp much of what he was saying, apart from his opening line which was, "How are you today?". He then continued to prattle on, even after I explained that I was having difficulty understanding him and wasn't interested in his unexpected communication. Cheers, but I've now blocked the number.

It appears the caller was representing something called PW World, though I couldn’t quite catch it all. They seemed to be fishing for details about my mobile provider, presumably in a bid to offer me a more appealing deal. I wasn't interested, so I politely informed them that I was content with my current provider and wrapped up the conversation rather quickly. Definitely not a call I needed!

I just had a rather peculiar interaction. A gentleman of Asian descent rang me up, inquiring about my mobile device, and proceeded to pitch some products. After a brief moment, he hung up, claiming he’d just upgraded his phone. Quite an odd encounter, if I must say!

I purposely ignored the call I received from this number on the 21st of October, 2022, at 2 PM. After checking the details associated with it here, I'm relieved I didn't pick up - it certainly appears to be a spam call. The location linked to the number indicates Sevenoaks, which is interesting.

I've received calls from this number multiple times, and each time I’ve not picked up, it’s shown as spam or a telemarketer on my phone. I tend to rely on the warnings my phone gives, so I'd really appreciate it if they would cease their incessant ringing. I've already blocked the number after a few attempts, but they just keep at it! You’ve got to admire their persistence, though!
