seems like a tv licence scam, they want your details right off the bat. when i asked what for, all they said was it was about tv licensing. then they just cut me off before i could say more once they saw i wasnt interested. they just want your money, so dont fall for it! best to block that number straight away.

Received three calls in just four days! The first couple were automated voicemails pestering me about my TV licence since I couldn’t pick up at the time. When I finally answered on the third attempt, they straightaway demanded my address. I queried the reason and they babbled something about payment issues. I told them I had already settled my licence fee and preferred all communication via email, not by telephone. When I pressed them further on why they required my details, they suddenly cut the line. I'm bombarded with calls from these folks - I picked up once and it turned out to be Capca, claiming they were representing BBC TV Licensing.
