Got a call from someone saying they were from Amazon's security team. They told me there was a £750 purchase made with my account in Devon. Asked if anyone else had used my PC recently. I just ended the call straight away, seemed like a total scam to me.

Got one of those silent calls the other day. Not too bothered myself, but I can see how it might really stress out older people or those who aren’t too well. Really hope the officials step up and do something about it soon.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Amazon security, claiming there was some dodgy activity on my account and that someone was trying to make a purchase. I kept saying I reckoned it was a con and when I asked for any sort of proof that he was really from Amazon, he just cut me off and hung up.

Got a call from a guy saying he was from Amazon, telling me there was some dodgy stuff happening with my account. I wouldn't give him any info because he spoke with an Indian accent and I didn’t trust him at all. After I told him I suspected it was a scam, he just hung up.

Got a call from people claiming to be from AMAZON, saying my account got hacked. They told me to check an email they supposedly sent and then asked for my email login to "verify" stuff. I told them I'd get back to them and if it wasn’t legitimate, I’d report it to the UK cybercrime authorities. After that, they just ended the call. Sounds like a total scam to me.

I received a call from an Indian lady claiming to be from Amazon, warning me that someone was trying to hack my account and that they'd send me an email. I told her I don't even have an Amazon account and asked how she knew my email. She kept talking over me, with loads of background noise as if she was abroad. I told her where to go, ended the call, and blocked the number. BT really needs to get this sorted!
