I received a rather peculiar call today. The person on the other end was inquiring if our windows had a virus. It was a bit jarring, really! His English was rather poor, and he had a thick accent that set off alarm bells for me. Honestly, he came across as rather dodgy!

somebody called me saying my computer was sending out some weird messages and they could fix it for me, but i just laughed and told “lisa” to get lost and that she was obviously trying to scam me. then i went ahead and blocked the number straight away.

Have you seen how it's nearly always those #### numbers ringing you up trying to pull a scam? Just the other day, I got done over at a #### store. They ripped me off £8.00 for a couple of juice cartons and a pint of milk. Proper scallywags. Don’t fall for it, just tell them to get lost.

Got loads of calls from numbers I didn’t recognise today. The person on the line had an Indian accent and seemed surprised when I said I knew he was calling from India - guess he thought he was speaking perfect English or something. Anyway, he just hung up. Blocked straight away.

I told them I don’t actually own a computer, and they sounded a bit surprised before hanging up.

I wasn’t recogniseing the caller so I just let it ring twice right away before stopping. No idea who it was.

I received an unexpected phone call where I could hear the usual din of a call centre in the background, yet nobody actually said anything. As for who it was? I haven’t a clue.
