I'm receiving daily calls on my landline, and it's quite vexing since there’s never anyone on the other end! It feels a bit like an ongoing mystery with no resolution.

Exercise caution if you happen to get a call from this number. Initially, I received a call in which I was invited to partake in a survey concerning charitable donations. I opted out and ended the call with a chap on the other end. Just a mere three minutes later, the same number rang again. This time a woman was on the line, inquiring if I had encountered any troublesome calls. I responded affirmatively, and she apologised for the unwelcome disturbance, assuring me that my details would be taken off their list. However, she already had my full name and address and requested me to verify both. At that point, I chose to cut the conversation short and hung up. Instantly, I suspected it was a scam. I felt compelled to share this experience. It puzzles me why these callers believe that we Australians are naïve.

I’ve received calls from this number on three different occasions now. Each time, when they actually speak, they sound like they’re from India. We usually just end the conversation right away. So, if you get a call from them, my advice is to just hang up.
