Got a call from someone pretending to be Ofcom about a “mandatory” update for some broadband boosting deal. They said if I didn’t do it, my internet would get cut off. They kept pushing it like it’d make my internet run way faster or something. Total scam!

Got a call with some recorded bloke speaking English saying my broadband would be disconnected unless I upgraded. Seriously, don’t press any buttons if this rings you up! They’re just trying to get your bank info and nick your cash!

Got a call with recorded voice saying my internet provider needs a "mandatory upgrade." After that, a person came on live and repeated the same thing. I told them I wasn’t buying it and hung up straight away. If there was a legit issue, they’d send me a letter in the post, not a dodgy phone call like that.
