Got a call with a recorded male voice saying it was from BT Engineering, warning my landline would get cut off in 24 hours. The message asked me to press 1 to speak to an engineer or 2 to confirm the disconnection. I’d heard from BT before that this kind of call is a scam, so I just ended it. Still, the whole thing felt really pushy and they seriously need to crack down on calls like this.
