Had a call from a robotic voice with a US accent claiming my internet provider detected suspicious activity on my router from multiple countries. Said they’d change my IP and send a replacement router. Then it told me to ‘press 1 to talk to a technician’. I just ended the call instead of pressing anything! Pretty sure hitting 1 would have connected me to some pricey international line. Complete rubbish if you ask me.
