Got a call earlier saying my internet was gonna be cut off, and to stop it I had to press one or press two to end the contract. Turned out to be dodgy, so I've blocked the number now.

Just got a call from this number, and the guy had a strong Indian accent. Claimed he was from the BT tech support and wanted to chat about my broadband. Yeah, right! Total scam, so I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from a woman with a pre-recorded voice claiming to be from Talk Talk, asking me to press one and all that. Just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call telling me my TalkTalk contract was ending today and my internet would be cut off. They asked me to "Press 1" for details, which I reckon was just a way to get me on some expensive line. I ended the call straight away and blocked the number.

Just got another call with that same robotic voice telling me my Talk Talk account is about to be cut off and to press 1. Total scam, no doubt about it!

Same old story, phone rings and just as I pick up it cuts off - feels like some auto dialler ringing off loads of numbers and someone else picking up just moments before me. I’ve started thinking maybe these calls have some kind of voice detection because if you answer and stay quiet, it hangs up after a couple of secs. Got another from the same area code but a different number a bit later (first one was around 8.30 am). Both now on my blocked list. Seems like a fresh batch of rubbish scammers or dodgy characters about.

I got a voicemail saying that my TalkTalk internet would get cut off today unless I called back or pressed 1. Totally bogus message.

Idiots keep calling but no one picks up, such a pain, wish there was more done to crack down and deal with these pests. I’m really worried about the elderly and vulnerable folk - we’re meant to have some kind of protection scheme here in Scotland for them, but it’s clearly useless, just another nonsense policy to make the SNP look like they care.

Just like the person before me, I got a call from Settle saying my contract with TalkTalk was ending today. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number!

Got a robo call from a Settle number claiming to be Talk Talk. The automated message warned me service would be disconnected today unless I pressed 1. It was clearly dodgy, so I just ended the call and blocked the number. Not sure if it's worth telling Talk Talk about it though - would they even bother doing anything?

Just now I got a call from this number, a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was from BT's technical team. He kept saying he needed to talk about my internet. Yeah right, total scam. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Got a dodgy call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk saying my internet was going to be disconnected. I just ended the call straight away. Funny thing is, last week it was someone saying they were from BT!
