Someone claiming to be from BT rang me saying that if I jotted down a number and dialled it, I'd stop any annoying marketing or scam calls. I reckon it's probably a premium rate line, so I'm not about to ring it. I stayed on the call for ages just to waste her time and hopefully block her from targeting others. An older neighbour of mine got tricked out of a lot of money by a similar BT scam caller, so I’m wary.
