A guy with a foreign accent called me, claiming he was from BT saying my internet had been hacked and someone was using it fraudulently. He warned me to be careful about getting scammed. When I asked him straight up if he was a scammer, he insisted BT doesn’t hire scammers and claimed they wouldn’t even know who isn’t their customer!
