A woman who said she was "Christine from Microsoft" called me claiming my PC was "sending error alerts to their secure server due to being hacked by foreign intruders". Honestly, it was so clumsy. She told me to press the Windows key and type "eventvwr", then tell her what appeared. As soon as I described seeing three columns and named them, she just ended the call. Strange behaviour. Definitely one of those fake TeamViewer or Remote Desktop cons.
