I have a scam blocker set up on my phone. They didn’t say their name or company, and didn’t leave any voicemail. Honestly, I’d be shocked if it wasn’t some kind of dodgy call.

Just had another attempt at a car crash scam! This bloke rang me up, saying he was from Motor Assist UK, digging for information about a supposed car accident. The thing is, I’ve never been involved in any incident, so I had no interest in chatting with this unsolicited caller, who had a distinctly Asian accent. What a nuisance!

I got a call from this number, it turned out to be the delivery guy bringing the food I ordered through Just Eat.

Got a call from some motor assist company, something about a car accident investigation. If you haven't been in a crash in the past three years, best to just ignore it. But if you have, then it's your choice whether to respond or not. Cheers!

They claimed they could improve my call blocking and asked me to confirm a few bits of bank info. I wasn’t having any of it and thought it sounded like a scam, so I told them straight.

Received a call from someone claiming to represent a bank, evidently a foreign woman from a call centre. She was asking for details regarding my bank account to process a refund for gas. I found it rather suspicious and ended the conversation promptly.
