My mate got a call from this number too, some bloke pretending to be from Amazon. Definitely a scam, just a heads up for everyone to watch out!

I got a call from a sort of automated voice telling me someone had tried to use my card to buy stuff on Amazon and other places. Since 01728 is my local number, I picked up right away. The message told me to press different numbers based on what I wanted to say, like “Press 1 if yes, Press 2 if no,” stuff like that. I hung up straight away, didn’t bother with it. Just a heads up, they might be calling from other local codes too.
