1 yearToday this number called me, so I tried calling back but there was no answer.2 yearsGot a call from 01728 632858, which looks like a local number, but it turned out to be some dodgy automated message. The voice was totally synthetic and came from some “Bank Security” guy claiming my card was used twice to buy stuff. They asked me to press 1 or 2 depending on whether I confirmed those purchases or not. Honestly, no idea what would happen if you did press anything! They didn’t say which bank supposedly sent the alert or anything. This happened first around early August 2024, then yesterday, and again just now. Best thing I did was just hang up straight away!2 yearsSomeone called claiming to be from bank security, but I’m pretty sure it was just a scam.Submit Your Own Report (01728 638208)
