2 yearsI saw this con covered on the BBC 1 show 'Scam Interceptors', which you can watch on iPlayer. Honestly, if you have a bank account, it’s a must-watch. These fraudsters are very clever and operate complex scams. It’s pretty frightening, but the hosts never tell you to end the call straight away just because you hear an Indian accent - maybe that’s a rule or something. There’s also a good series about scams on Channel 5 you can find on My5. If you get any dodgy calls like these, make sure to report them by texting 7726.BBC 1Channel 52 yearsI got a voicemail from someone pretending to be the bank's security team, talking about some weird activity on my account. It asked me to press 1 or 2, but I just hung up without pressing anything. Total rubbish attempt, probably some scammer named Sam or something.2 yearsSomeone called saying there were 2 payments on my credit card but never said who they were. Then they told me to press 1 or 2, but I didn’t do anything and they just hung up. Honestly, felt really dodgy to me.Submit Your Own Report (01728 603924)
