Calls me and then hangs up without saying a word. It’s quite frustrating!

Oi, folks! That number's a right con, I tell you! A dodgy caller claiming to represent BT Openreach rang me up, acting like they were concerned about my internet connection. Went on about how they'd picked up some issues with my broadband and were eager to 'help'. Total scam, if you ask me!

Got a robo call claiming it was BT warning me my internet would be cut off if I didn't complete 4 tasks. Sounded dodgy to me.

I got this true call app on my phone so it picks up and shows me who’s ringing before I even answer. Sometimes, when I check, there’s no one speaking, and then the call just ends. The app has a list of numbers already saved in it and it’ll hang up automatically if anyone from that list rings. Only folks who want to reach me have to say their name first, and I can block them right away if I want. So, I still can’t figure out who was trying to call me earlier.

Got a robotic call that stayed quiet for a good 30 seconds, then it just played some pre-recorded goodbye message and ended the call.

Got a recorded call pretending to be from BT saying my internet would get cut off soon. They told me to press some numbers on the phone. Total scam!

I got a robotic call saying my BT internet would be cut off because it's been breached or something global. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to chat with an engineer and find out what to do next. What's weird is if I stay quiet, the call just ends. But if I say anything, it seems to set off the nonsense message again. Proper odd.

When my partner isn’t picking up, I usually switch to my best gruff old lady voice whenever these random phone numbers ring me. From what I’ve noticed, they tend to chat more if a woman answers. But today, it didn’t work - they must’ve caught on to my little act by now. Still, they keep ringing, funny really!
