Received a call from someone purporting to be from BT, sounded like they had an ethnic accent. They insisted that there was an issue with our BT connection, but I assured them there was nothing amiss. They rattled on about some 6,000 connections being problematic, which I dismissed as nonsense. Eventually, they just cut the line. Curiously, when I tried ringing the number back from my mobile, it traced back to Saxmundham in Suffolk.
