i got a call warning that someone was attempting to hack our internet and that it would be cut off for 10 days. but they rang the building's home phone, which weirdly doesn’t even have internet - the business line does, on a different number. i let her talk for a while to ask about the account holder and stuff, then told her to go ahead and try disconnecting it. since that line has no internet, they’d probably have no luck anyway, and then I ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming they'd disconnect our internet today if we didn't pay up. Definitely a scam, blocked the number straight away.
