Got a call from someone claiming to be with Talk Talk. They even mentioned my account number! I asked for their location and contact number, and they gave me Talk Talk’s info. But when I checked 1471, it showed this different number. I ended up reporting it to Talk Talk through their online Report Scam option.

Got calls from this number at 7 in the morning and then again at 9, I ignored both times. It’s one of those TalkTalk scam calls. Ever since TalkTalk came into the picture, I’ve reported this number loads of times. They’re proper annoying, don’t bother picking up for these pests.

It sounded like Talk Talk calling. They asked some questions about where they were calling from, gave me an address and number that seem to match Talk Talk in London but honestly, anyone could google that info. Then the usual stuff about logging on and whatnot.

This number rings me every single morning about 8 o’clock. I picked up once by accident and a man with an Asian accent said he was from TalkTalk, saying they were our internet supplier. Got a call from this number, some guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk. He said there was an issue with my modem and asked me to check the lights on it, which ones were blinking and which weren’t. Then he told me the problem would get worse if I didn’t fix it, and wanted me to switch on my computer so he could sort it remotely. No way I was falling for that!

I'd say these calls coming from St. Albans are just meant to wind up TalkTalk customers. Maybe the guy with the Asian accent used to work for TalkTalk, got kicked out, and now he’s just having a bit of a laugh at their expense. TalkTalk really ought to check on this ASAP, don’t you think?

I told him I know this is just a load of rubbish and with two people in my house who are comp science grads, I wasn’t falling for it. Recently got another call from 01727 862047, a guy with an Asian accent, sometimes a woman answers too. It’s honestly just harassment by now. I’ve also flagged it as dangerous because if you were to fall for what they’re saying, you could end up being scammed really badly.

Got five calls from this number between 7:51 am and 3:29 pm. I just let it ring out to voicemail every time. Not a single message has been left. They seem to hang up as soon as the voicemail picks up. If they’re actually paying for this, it’s a total waste of cash.

What really concerns me is that they’ve got my TalkTalk membership number, so it definitely links back to that data breach TalkTalk had last year. I told them I don’t own a computer. They called me from the 01245 number yesterday. Recently, I’ve been getting nasty adware pop ups whenever I try to access my TalkTalk email.

Got a spam call from some Indian bloke pretending to be from Talk Talk. Told him to bugger off, and when he was done he could bugger off some more. That seemed to shut him up pretty quick. All thanks to Dido Harding for bungling things up and not keeping our data safe when she was running Talk Talk - what a joke of a telecom company. If anyone wants to message her about the hassle she’s caused, she’s now up at the House of Lords at [email protected] Used to be Baroness Harding of Winscombe or something. Rewarded for 'services' to the telecom sector. Brilliant.
