We've received a couple of calls from this number, and each time, they left messages that went straight to our answering machine. It strikes us as rather odd because it appears to be a predetermined call linked to someone we’re familiar with, although the names mentioned in the messages differ each time, and neither individual resides here. The caller referred to themselves as 'TRANSCOM', so we decided to look it up in the BT phonebook. The only result that came up with the same area code, which happens to be St Albans, was 'Transcom Worldwide (UK) Ltd', a company that deals with debt collection. Quite a peculiar situation, wouldn’t you agree?
