Some bloke called claiming to be from a tech firm phoned me up, saying my computer was picking up all sorts of viruses whenever it hooked onto the internet. It’s one of those classic scams where they attempt to get you to buy rubbish software or get into your PC and nick your personal info. Pretty dodgy stuff if you ask me.

Got a call earlier, and when I said ‘hello’ there was complete quiet on the other end. I only picked up because I have mates in St Albans but actually live down in Cornwall.

This woman with an Indian accent kept yapping about some virus on my computer. Even after I said I wasn’t interested, she just wouldn’t quit. When I managed to interrupt and asked how she got my number, reminding her I’m on the TPS and she shouldn’t be ringing me, she just hung up on me. Quite annoying!
