Got a call from someone claiming to be David from Windows security. When I pressed for the company name he said Microsoft. He insisted there was a security issue on my computer but I denied it. I threw a few questions at him, like asking for his licence number, but he couldn’t provide any. Told him straight up he was trying to scam me. He then went on about how people in the UK always suspect scams like this. I just told him they have every reason to be suspicious. After that I’d had enough and just hung up on him.
