I picked up the phone thinking it was someone I was waiting for. A woman spoke, sounded African. When I asked who she was after, she kept asking if I was someone I didn’t know. After that, I blocked her number. Later on, I found out it was related to some bank fraud scam. Best just not to pick up at all.

They keep ringing but once you answer, it’s just silence after a few seconds. Don’t start talking, just hang up and block the number straight away. They’re trying to catch your voice for security reasons linked to your accounts. So don’t get drawn into any long talks or delays, as they use your voice to get into bank stuff and other personal info.

I kept getting calls from this number every few minutes, like every 3 or so, and they just wouldn’t stop. It felt really creepy and sketchy, kinda like a stalker trying to get through or something. Proper annoying and a bit worrying too.
