Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, it was a recorded message. I’ve had quite a few of these dodgy calls recently, so I just blocked the number straight away. Scam for sure.

Loads of strange numbers keep ringing us. This one popped up the other day. Whenever a number’s unfamiliar, we just put the answerphone on, so they end up paying for the call. Obviously, no one ever leaves a voicemail. We don’t bother returning calls either - who knows, it could be some premium line trap. Seems like some folks are willing to try anything except a proper job these days.
