Someone rang me up looking for my husband. When I asked what they wanted, they just hung up straight away.

They called asking for my wife and started talking about possible refunds from an all inclusive holiday in the past three years or so. It was all fishy to me so I just ended the call, defo a scam.

This number has called me a couple of times, always asking for my wife’s name. When I ask who’s calling, they just hang up. I tried ringing back and an American voice answered saying I’d be put through to an agent, but I doubt you actually get connected. Probably some dodgy sales call or PPI nonsense. We assumed since the area code was 01727 it was from St Albans, but clearly not.
