Got a voicemail saying it came from BT, warning my internet would be disconnected. It asked me to press 1 for tech support or 2 to go ahead with the disconnection. The bloke’s voice was a bit theatrical, like he'd trained for the stage and was trying to sound like Churchill or someone serious. Definitely felt like a scam to me. The number they called from isn’t in any public listings. The closest one I found is 01727568856, which is based in St Albans, and I reckon that one’s legit.
