I received two calls today informing me that my EE payments for my account could be halved. I have never been with EE at all. I let them ramble on to waste their time and politely told them to go forth and multiply. Expletives were used when I informed them it was a scam.

Got a call from 01727309192, but they hung up after a few rings. Pretty obvious it’s just some scam, so I didn’t bother picking up.

There was a bit of a pause before they started talking, saying they were from EE. It definitely sounded like someone calling from outside the UK, maybe a call centre overseas. I didn’t let them get very far though...

This number rang me saying they were from Lebara or something about 3, saying they wanted to send out a new SIM card. I asked them to verify my details like a proper company would, but instead of answering, they just cut the call. Definitely a dodgy call, probably a scam.
