Today, we were scammed out of £600, which has left us in a right pickle. We had been counting on that money for a property, and now we're seriously at risk of being without a roof over our heads in just two weeks’ time. What a disaster!

Living in Worcester, I found myself in a similar predicament with this particular woman. I was taken in by her act until she claimed to be discussing things with her 'solicitor' and hurriedly produced a tenancy agreement without even letting us see the place. Thankfully, I decided to do a bit of research online and stumbled upon this site! It’s truly outrageous; others have mentioned that they reported her to the authorities more than six months back. How is she still getting away with this?! It’s beyond frustrating!

She's still around the Peterborough locale. I'm attempting to sort out a visit for Tuesday. She's sent over her banking info. Planning to speak to the authorities on Monday. Wants a £650 deposit without even showing the place!

I’ve just had a right dodgy call myself, apparently from Galashiels in Scotland. Definitely sounds like a scammer trying their luck!

Indeed, she’s still active on Gumtree. Currently, she’s attempting to pull a fast one on me here in Norfolk.

We're currently navigating the situation of her getting ready to view a two-bedroom flat in Crawley. We’ve set up a viewing for Tuesday, but I began to feel a bit wary when she requested payment upfront. If anyone’s interested in hearing more about it, feel free to drop me an email at [email protected]. Cheers!

+44 24 7610 0705 - I got a message from this number asking for my email address. Shortly after, they went on to ask for £500. Definitely don't fall for this scam!

Be cautious with the number 442476100705! A woman named Rosemarie Grant has been attempting to con us in the last few days after we posted an advertisement on Gumtree searching for a two-bedroom place.

I recently had an encounter with a woman by the name of Rosemarie Grant, though I believe she also goes by Sandra Lewin. I nearly fell victim to her fraudulent antics when I placed an ad on Gumtree. I cannot stress enough-steer clear of her! Thankfully, I acted swiftly and blocked her without delay. It seems she's employing the same old trick; she sends out emails featuring images of a flat, claiming she’s relocating for a job in either Coventry or Tiverton. Then, she brings in her 'solicitor' and attempts to extract funds. Just be cautious out there!

I experienced something rather similar just yesterday; she seems to have developed quite the greedy streak! She requested a hefty sum of £600 prior to even meeting up. It was strange, as each time I attempted to reach out via email, I kept getting hit with a Post Master Delivery Failure message. Instinctively, I sensed something was amiss. I made it clear that I wouldn’t part with £600 without having a proper meeting or viewing the property beforehand. I truly sympathise with your loss. Rest assured, karma has a way of catching up with folks like her before too long!

Hi there, I find myself in a rather unfortunate position as I've fallen victim to a scam orchestrated by this individual. I'm keen to gather as much information as possible about her, or whoever she might be. If any kind souls out there could kindly share any details, no matter how minor they may seem, I would be incredibly grateful. I realise this discussion might be a tad dated, but I’m holding out hope that someone might stumble upon this and get in touch. Please send any insights or information regarding this person to my email: [email protected]. Thanks ever so much!

I encountered a similar situation with a lady by the name of Rosemarie Grant, residing at 688 Seahall Highway, Coventry. After I placed an advert on Gumtree, she requested my email to forward details regarding a property. We both reached an agreement on the rental terms, and she subsequently sent over a tenancy agreement that looked remarkably legitimate. She offered to cover the stamping fee, on the condition that I sent her a £25 iTunes voucher. Believing it to be above board, I complied and sent her the code. However, I was left in the dark for more than a week without any communication, and then I stumbled upon a post from a different number but with the same name and address. This is undoubtedly a scam, and I've duly reported it to Action Fraud and the police.

I've had a right dodgy experience with a woman named "Rosemarie." She claims to have relocated to the West Midlands for a job about five years ago and believes she's found the perfect house matching my Gumtree ad. She's pressing me for more info and apparently wants to involve her solicitor, but here's the kicker-she's asking for money upfront. It’s all a bit suspect, if you ask me. Definitely feels like a scam, so beware!

I received a message from this number requesting my email address! After I posted an advert on Gumtree looking for a two-bedroom house, I sent my email but haven't heard back. When I've attempted to call, it's as if I'm dialling overseas! Quite frustrating, to say the least!

I've received two messages from this individual since February, and I must strongly advise against sending them any funds in advance-it's a total scam! They seem to be fishing through advertisements on Gumtree, and just this evening, they reached out to me again, claiming to have a flat in Basildon. I've retained all correspondence from this person, including the bank information they shared when I requested it. I plan to file a report first thing in the morning.

I recently had a rather unsettling encounter with a woman named Rosemarie who reached out to me after I spotted her advertisement on Gumtree. She claimed to have a two-bedroom property available for rent at £750 monthly and, after dismissing several other options, we set up a viewing for 6 PM. To my dismay, she failed to appear and even provided me with an incorrect address. To make matters worse, she had the audacity to ask for a £25 iTunes gift card, which I refused to purchase. Now, she’s completely ignoring my messages. I was really looking forward to this, especially with a baby on the way, and it's disheartening to deal with someone so cruel.

Today, I got a message from this number right after I put up an ad on Gumtree. The sender's name appears to be Rose. I shared my email address with her, but I haven't received any response. I attempted to ring the number, but the tone sounded rather peculiar, almost as if it’s not a UK call. Seems a bit dodgy to me. X

I've just received a message from someone named Rose after I put up a wanted advert on Gumtree. She asked for my email, which I sent her, but then she went quiet on me. It's reminiscent of a situation I encountered three years back where someone wanted me to cough up some cash ahead of seeing a property, supposedly for a solicitor. Naturally, I didn't part with any funds in that instance. I have a feeling this might be going down a similar path.

I recently got a message from this number following an advertisement I posted seeking assistance from landlords. The message was from someone named Rose, claiming to have a property that fits my needs. She requested my email to send over further details. However, when I attempted to call the number, it didn’t sound like a typical UK ringtone at all. Just a heads-up to be cautious with this number!
