This number has rung me on my mobile four times over the past couple of days. Didn’t have a clue who it was, so I just ignored the calls and let them go to voicemail.

I got this weird call where the person just kept saying "hello" to my voicemail. I'm pretty sure it’s one of those automated calls, and when my voicemail picks up, it sounds like someone’s actually there. I could hear a busy call centre noise in the background. After they said hello a few times, they just hung up. If they’re not leaving any message or telling who they are, it’s probably a scam or some cold caller fishing for info. Either way, I have no interest in those calls so they can just keep chatting to my voicemail if they want.

They appeared to have quite an extensive knowledge of my medical background, claiming that I had completed a survey-which, I can assure you, I certainly haven’t. It all felt rather unsettling!

I keep getting loads of calls every day from the St Albans area, with 01727 at the start and the last few digits change slightly each time. From what I gather, it’s some kind of call centre doing the rounds for different companies. If they’re not gonna leave a voicemail, then honestly, it’s best to just ignore them. Don’t share any details with these callers.
