Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media saying there was a problem with my internet. They wanted me to share my Google password so they could “fix” it. Didn’t they realise if I handed that over, they’d have access to everything I’ve got saved on my laptop? I told them I had to go out and that I’d ring back later. The guy, who had an Asian accent, rudely told me to f*** off. So I rang Virgin directly and they confirmed it was a scam. That number is seriously risky, folks - watch out before they drain your bank account!
