I received some robocall earlier claiming that my phone and internet services were about to be disconnected unless I pressed 1 or 2 to get through to some ‘trained expert’ who apparently could sort everything out and protect me from any potential fraud. Naturally, I was a bit sceptical, so I rang up my actual provider to check, and they had no idea about any such call - said it definitely wasn’t from them. I’ve now blocked that number, and funnily enough, my connection is as solid as ever!

Got a robo-call warning me that if I didn’t press 1 or 2, my phone and internet would be disconnected today. I rang my provider straight away, but they had no clue about any such message and said it definitely wasn’t from them. I just hung up without pressing anything!
