Today, I got a call claiming to be from BT, asking me to check my broadband speeds online. Problem is, we use cable broadband, so it didn’t add up at all.

got a call from this number claiming to be open reach, they said they wanted to check my download speed by accessing my laptop. i just gave them my speed and said no way to the laptop access, then they ended the call. ive shot an email over to open reach to see if it was really them or not.
