I just received a rather dodgy call from the number 01726 833352, claiming to be from 'Amazon'. They started droning on about some so-called suspicious activity linked to my account and a charge of £799.99 that was supposedly going to be deducted. Naturally, I cut the call short. It’s clear that this lot are quite adept at spinning tales of 'we're safeguarding you' nonsense, all while urging you to 'press 1' for immediate action. As we near the festive season, it seems they're becoming increasingly sophisticated in their scams.
