Got a call from someone asking if I was the main user of "the internet" or something like that. When I told her the internet’s used by everyone in this business, she just hung up on me. Bit odd, really.

Got calls from 01726823689 on back to back days, saying they're with BT. First time, a bloke said they had engineers nearby and needed to test my broadband speed. The next day, a woman rang up saying my internet was hacked and being used for dodgy stuff. Both got pretty loud and pushy when I asked questions. Proper dodgy behaviour if you ask me.

I received a call, supposedly from BT, claiming there’s a hacker accessing my computer for dubious purposes. Sounds a bit fishy to me!

So this guy called me, sounded like a real person, no robot or anything. Spoke proper English and said he was from BT. He even knew my name and asked if it was a good moment to talk about broadband. I told him "no, I’m just having lunch, and honestly I doubt you’re actually from BT" then I ended the call. Feels like a scam to me, really sketchy and annoying since I never reported any issues. Turns out the call was coming from way outside Manchester, which just confirmed my suspicions.
