During the conversation, I thought I detected some faint whispering in the background, which I assumed must be other staff members. Suddenly, the call dropped. I patiently awaited a callback, but it never came. So, I decided to ring them back, only to be met with ringing and then a recorded message stating that the number was currently unavailable. If this isn't some kind of scam and they're just playing a game of "let's avoid", then it really angers me given all their claims of not discriminating against prospective employees’ details, including references and work history.
