I got a call from someone claiming to be "benefits UK" asking about my dad who passed away. I told him to put my dad on, then just let the silence hang in the line for a while before he hung up. These calls are such a pain and completely pointless.

Got a call from someone who said his name was David. He already knew my address and name and asked me to verify them. Could hear loads of noise behind him, sounded like a busy call centre, so I just ended the call.

The lady just said hello, I said hello back and then suddenly they hung up on me.

Answered the phone, could hear some faint noise in the back, then they just hung up. It said it was from Scunthorpe? Seems dodgy to me. No idea who it was, most likely a scam.
